We Have Moved Our Norwalk Office

[Effective May 22, 2023, CAFC-Norwalk will be at 32 Knight St.]
For almost three decades, our office at 40 Cross St. has been our home in Norwalk. In fact, for a great amount during that period, CAFC considered Norwalk its corporate office until the Stamford office’s inauguration in 2005. Since being affiliated with Hartford Healthcare in 2019, it has been our shared goal to provide quality care that is conveniently accessible by the communities we serve. And what better way than envision a future wherein we are housed in the same location alongside other specialists under HHC’s roster of providers. As such, we are pleased to announce that effective May 22, 2023, we will be moving to our new home at the historic 32 Knight St. property, which is a mere half-mile away from our previous location. Notwithstanding the new address, our contact details and information remain the same once we open the doors to our new office.
Our new offices will be situated in a freshly renovated and sprawling 47,000 sq.ft. location. The original structure, constructed in 1940 and is listed in the town’s historic resource inventory, housed the C.R. Gibson printing company that was based in New York City then moved to Norwalk. Until recently, the building was home to the Lillian August furniture store that has since moved to the SoNo Collection mall. In renovating this storied structure, the project engineering firm of Redniss & Mead made sure to preserve the historic aspects of the original building, specifically the main entrance. While the building and its exterior façade are 83 years old, the style of the architecture is what resulted in the building’s inclusion on the historic resource inventory. While sporting a fresh and modern look that feature state-of-the-art amenities and conveniences, we will nevertheless make sure that our new home will pay tribute to the history and image the original building owner tried to project when they built the structure in 1940 and what it signified to the community. We hope to see you there soon.
